Leaf through great books

The British Library site  allows you to leaf through masterpieces held in the library’s collection. For example, Lewis Carroll’s original Alice’s Adventures Under Ground,  sketches by Leonardo da Vinci from his personal notebook, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s musical diary, The first Atlas of Europe by cartographer Gerardus Mercator and Andreas Vesalius’ De Humani Corporis Fabrica, a dazzling sixteenth-century medical anatomy book (see image above).
